Elliott Blanchard

Elliott Blanchard joined the firm as a partner in 2019. Mr. Blanchard focuses on corporate and commercial transactions, as well as general corporate counseling and governance. In addition to his time in private practice, Mr. Blanchard worked for multiple years as in-house corporate counsel at in Seattle.


  • Private equity funds, other financial sponsors and corporate clients in a broad range of public and private acquisitions, divestitures and investments;
  • Representing a German bank in claims based on the purchase of residential mortgage-backed securities.

Mr. Blanchard received his B. A. cum laude from Yale University in 1998, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and his J.D. cum laude from New York University Law School in 2004, where he was Notes Editor of the law review and a Florence Allen scholar. Following his graduation, Mr. Blanchard served as a law clerk to Hon. Naomi Reice Buchwald of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
