Stanley N. Alpert is Of Counsel to the Firm.  His primary areas of concentration are environmental and land use law, where he has distinguished himself in both public and private practice, and real estate law.    He is a member of the New York Bar and the Florida Bar.

Mary Anderson is Of Counsel to the Firm.  She has held a number of business and legal positions, principally in the broadcast, satellite, cable and Internet industries, and presently concentrates on corporate and transactional matters.  She is a member of the New York Bar.

Samuel L. Butt is an associate of the Firm.  He concentrates on complex commercial litigation and secutiries litigation.  Mr. Butt is a member of the New York Bar, as well as the Bars of the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York; he is also a member of the Federal Bar Council.

Wayne Baden is a Senior Partner of the Firm.  He concentrates on corporate and transactional matters, with a focus on the corporate, financial, insurance, franchising, and regulatory aspects of the ground transportation industry.  He is a member of the New York Bar.

Richard H. Dolan is a Senior Partner of the Firm.  He focuses on complex commercial litigation, and also has represented clients in connection with corporate governance, antitrust, securities, telecommunications, bankruptcy and sports and entertainment litigation and appeals.  Mr. Dolan also represents clients in negotiating and drafting agreements in a wide variety of commercial contexts.  He is a member of the New York, Massachusetts and Hawaii Bars, as well as the Bars of a number of Federal courts around the country.

Michael Battle is a Senior Partner of the Firm.  He concentrates on complex commercial litigation, white-collar crime and appeals.  He has served as a prosecutor at state and federal levels, as a judge and as Director of the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys.  In private practice, he participated in cases with regulatory aspects, including some with international significance.  He is a member of the New York Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, as well as the Bars of a number of Federal courts.

Robert Begleiter is a Senior Partner of the Firm.  He concentrates on complex commercial litigation, antitrust litigation, RICO litigation, employment litigation and personal injury matters.  He is a member of the New York Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, as well as the Bars of a number of Federal courts.

Jeffrey M. Eilender is a commercial litigator with over twenty years' experience whose practice focuses on "business divorce," intra-corporate disputes over intellectual property, real estate and other assets, trade secrets, and disputes relating to business separations involving, for example, operating, shareholder, non-compete, and severance agreements.  Mr. Eilender also litigates real estate, contract, and employment cases, and all manner of business torts.

Douglas E. Doug Grover is a member of the Firm.  Mr. Grover's practice focuses on white-collar criminal defense, internal investigations, and civil litigation.  He is a member of the New York Bar, as well as the Bars of the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Southern, Northern, and Western Districts of New York.

David Katz is a member of the Firm.  He focuses on complex commercial litigation, and also has represented clients in connection with corporate governance, real estate and employment litigation, appeals and corporate counseling.  Mr. Katz also provides general corporate counseling to his clients. Denis Patrick Kelleher is of counsel to the Firm.  He focuses on white-collar criminal defense, securities litigation, arbitration, complex commercial litigation and the representation of officers and directors.  He is a member of the New York Bar, as well as the Bar of the United States Districts Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Jonathan Mazer is a member of the Firm.  He focuses on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, administrative tribunals and arbitration, and mediation and on real estate litigation.  He has written and spoken on intellectual property issues involved in the creation and sale of investment products based on financial indexes.  He is a member of the New York Bar, as well as the Bars of a number of Federal courts around the country, including the United States Supreme Court.

Michael Marcus is Of Counsel to the Firm.  He focuses on appellate matters in New York State courts. He served in New York's Appellate Division, First Department, for many years.  From 1996 until his retirement to enter private practice in 2002 he was its Chief Attorney.  He is a member of the New York Bar, as well as the Bars of the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts.

Raffi Melkonian is an associate of the Firm.  He focuses on complex commercial litigation, corporate governance, securities matters and appeals in New York State courts.  His background spans a diversity of commercial and corporate matters and includes notable service as a clerk in appellate and chancery courts.  He is a member of the New York Bar.

Cindy McBennett is an associate of the Firm.  She concentrates on complex commercial litigation, and also has represented clients in connection with corporate governance litigation.  She is a member of the New York Bar, as well as the Bar of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Bradley J. Niall D. Vitali S. Rosenfeld is Of Counsel to the Firm.  He concentrates on complex commercial litigation, RICO matters, securities litigation, domestic and international arbitrations, appeals and immigration law.  He is a member of the New York Bar, as well as the Bar of the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Ronald G. Russo is of counsel to the Firm.  He focuses on white-collar and other criminal defense, and has extensive experience in the management of criminal investigations.

The late Peter Schlam was a founder of the Firm and continuously practiced with it from its inception until his passing on June 1, 2005, handling many high profile civil and criminal matters.  Prior to founding the firm with Harvey Stone, Peter had a distinguished career in the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York, where he rose to the rank of Executive Assistant United States Attorney, the third-ranking position in the Office.

James C. Sherwood is a member of the Firm.  He concentrates on white-collar criminal defense and tax and complex commercial litigation.  He is a member of the New York Bar, as well as the Bars of a number of Federal courts around the country, including the Tax Court.

Harvey Stone is a founder and Senior Partner of the Firm.  The former Chief of the Appeals Division, United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York, he focuses on complex commercial litigation, white-collar criminal defense and appeals.  He is a member of the New York and Louisiana Bars, as well as the Bars of a number of Federal courts around the country.

Elizabeth Wolstein, a member of the firm, is an experienced trial and appellate advocate who focuses on business and financial disputes, government litigation, and appeals.  For more than nine years, she served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, including, during her last three years, as Deputy Chief Appellate Attorney.  She is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School, where she was an editor of the Harvard Law Review.  Elizabeth blogs about decisions of interest from the Eastern District of New York at ednyblog.com.

Hillary Zilz Prudlo is of counsel the Firm.  She focuses on complex commercial litigation and transactional and corporate counseling, and also represents clients in negotiating and drafting agreements in a wide variety of commercial contexts.
