Search and recruitment firm IDW Group is seeking recovery of damages is suffered as a consequence of an insurance premium check given to and subsequently misplaced by insurers
Schlam Stone & Dolan client IDW Group LLC is suing its former insurance broker and insurance company, as well the insurance company’s broker, alleging that their negligent loss of a renewal payment left it without insurance coverage when it was sued by JPMorgan Chase. All parties moved for summary judgment and oral argument was held on January 29, 2013. The submitted motions remain pending before Justice Kornreich. IDW Group is being represented by Schlam Stone partner Jeffrey Eilender and associate Samuel Butt.
